Suraj Prakash (born March 14, 1952; Dehradun) is a writer and story writer of Hindi and Gujarati.

Suraj Prakash was born in Uttarakhand (then of Uttar Pradesh) in Dehradun. Suraj Prakash received a BA degree from Meerut University and later he did MA from Osmania University. The rhyme had started from the age of thirteen years, but to write the first story, he had to wait till the age of thirty-five years. He initially did several small jobs and then went to Bombay in the service of the Reserve Bank of India in 1981 and from there retired from the post of General Manager in 2012. Suraj Prakash is known as a story writer, novelist, and aware translator. In 1989, he was sent to Ahmedabad in the form of a punishment, but he also turned the punishment into his favor. Then they started writing and their total deposits were published three stories. In 75 months spent in Ahmedabad, he began to make his personality and writing his place in the narrative and story writing. Read a lot and travel a lot. While learning Gujarati as a challenge and speaking Punjabi, he translated many books from Gujarati. These include some books of satirist Vinod Bhatt, the translation of Hasmukh Baradi's play 'Rai no mirror' Rai and Dinkar Joshi's most famous novel 'Publications Padachhaya'. While living there, the translation of George Arwell's novel 'Animal Form' was translated. The first honor of Gujarat Hindi Sahitya Akademi was received by Suraj Prakash in 1993. They live in Mumbai these days. Suraj Prakash ji knows Hindi, Punjabi, English, Gujarati, Marathi languages. In his family, his wife Madhu Arora and two sons are Abhijit and Abhigyan. Madhu ji is authored writer.

Suraj Prakash has written about 50 stories and two novels by writing in 1987. They also have two satirical collections. He translated 8 books from Gujarati and 8 books in English. In the service of the bank, he played an important role in the formulation of banking literature in Hindi. From his efforts for the first time, national level seminars were started in Hindi on various topics related to banking and the articles presented in them were edited and published in book form. These seminars are still organized regularly by the Reserve Bank of India. During his deployment in Pune's Pune-based college, Suraj Prakash has made many efforts and efforts to create interest in literature among the bankers. These include story tales of senior story managers, staging of plays etc. among the bankers. First honor from Gujarati Hindi Sahitya Akademi and two times honored by Maharashtra Hindi Sahitya Akademi. Suraj Prakash has done a very important job in the field of translation. He made his translation of biographies priority and translated many important biographies. The autobiography of Charles Chaplin, autobiography of Charles Darwin, Diary of Anne Frank, Milena and Gujrati, Mahatma Gandhi's Autobiography Satya Nay Uso is some of his insignificant translations. Apart from these, translation of stories of Nobel prize-winning writers, translation of Animal Farm and their translation of some other novels has been very much liked. With the advent of powerful social media like Facebook in the last few years, Suraj Prakash has discovered a new land for his stories and has given many long and meaningful stories by making Facebook the basis. He is probably the only writer of Hindi who has consistently made important stories by making Facebook his base. Their stories are translated into different languages. The small Nawab, the big Nawab and the horror stories have been shown on Doordarshan. On the writing of Suraj Prakash, three mphils have been completed and his work has been included in many thesis.
